A friend of mine has been recently diagnosed with diabetes and she's not taking it seriously. Her A1C was so high. I hope her doc will put her on a GLP-1.

@kimlockhartga You could show her some pictures of some of the health effects untreated diabetes can have. Not pretty, but it sure worked for me 🫣 Well, I always took it seriously, but after I looked into that, I took it extra serious.

Ugh I'm that person too. Diagnosed a couple of years ago. I still need sugar in my coffee and enjoy a sweet treat. It's harder to manage when everyone in the house has different dietary needs and temptation is always in reach
