      @uxmark @RadicalSocialWorker such an amazing song. My best friends favorite on the record. I still play this a lot. Did the other day. It's one I do multiple times every year. One of the ultimate perfect records.

            @uxmark
            Straight to HellΒ (1987):Β Played the character Simms in this Alex Cox punk-western.

            Mystery TrainΒ (1989):Β Played Johnny (segment "Lost in Space") in Jim Jarmusch's film.

            WalkerΒ (1987):Β Acted as "Faucet" and provided the soundtrack.

            My fave of these 3 was Mystery Train.

            *edit - I watched 3 of the movies he was in.

                They Might Be Giants do that a lot. Your Racist Friend has a sudden, almost Mariachi bit in the middle of it.

                      You're going on a Joe Strummer adventure! I was inspired by someone else way cooler than me to watch those movies - so I can't take credit for the idea.

                      Hope you enjoy!

                                      I love how this thread went from:
                                      Trent Reznor ->
                                      Joe Strummer ->
                                      Emotional support dead people ->
                                      πŸ˜‚

                                      I love the Fediverse.
