Which word would you match to after and before?
Also let me know if you're a native speaker or not (with the nuanced particular circumstances that apply to you if you wish) with the option you chose.
I want to write a blog post about the topic eventually, it's been circling around in my head for a while.
(P.S this is maybe overkill but to avoid too much influence, if you speak about your rationale CW your reply with "spoilers, see original post first". In the same vein avoiding looking at the replies before answering) -
