      This looks quite a bit bigger than the bobcats we have in my region, and they are not to be trifled with. I would be genuinely afraid to see a wildcat that big in my yard. That's halfway to mountain lion size, from the picture!

                            @karppinen a lynx is quite small compared to an adult deer, so on seeing this post I searched for β€œdo lynx kill deer?” and very quickly found a video of a small lynx attacking and killing a large deer. So wow, there’s me learning something. Lynx are cool, and scary.

                              Roe deer are the traditional main prey of the Eurasian lynx.

                              (I'm not sure where you are so you may have different species of deer and/or lynx.)
