      Canada & EU? not actually impossible.
      ‘Canada would certainly qualify’

      Giselle Bosse, professor of EU external democracy support at Maastricht University:

      “called Canadians “special Europeans, in a way” for reasons including their belief in the welfare state, their political and legal systems being based on European models and many Canadians having continental ancestry.”

        @pinhman

        My initial reaction is that I'm not outright opposed... there are a lot of things I like about the EU. My major concern is that the EU's current structure gives people like Orbán a veto in too many areas. Thus I'd want to see actual details before forming a firm opinion.
