Today, I bicycled along the coast of Sweden's third-largest lake, Lake Mälaren. The ice on lake is about to vanish.
Daylight is getting longer by almost 35 minutes per week right now. We are about to overtake the places further south. We are winning!

I LOVE when the Spring sunlight starts busting through every year!! Life at the 53rd parallel has its benefits. Looks like you're ahead of us.

@EllenInEdmonton Stockholm lies at almost 60° north, but the nearby Baltic Sea helps with the temperatures, I guess. I also love this time of the year best.

Ultimately, I love summer the most, with those long snow-free days when one can do any sort of outdoor activity. Still, each season has its charms, and I enjoy each one accordingly.
