I have to show off this absolutely unreal quetzal I had the pleasure of seeing in person. Otherwise I don't know if I could have been convinced that it wasn't stuffed animal.

@james Yay! such a mad looking thing. We were lucky enough to see one in Monteverde a couple of years back. My pics aren't that good though!
@wav3ydave Right? Glad you got to see one too! We got really lucky with how photogenic it was. Such an unbelievable creature.

@james We got the whole usual spiel of "oh they're very rare, many people come for years and never see one, etc etc" then literally walked for about 10 mins and the guide was, "oh there's one on that branch"
