I've recently acquired an #anagolue3d unit, excited to dig into my old #N64 titles in crisp 4K. I've sat down with a it a few times now and it works... but I feel like I've purchased a beta unit.
The unit itself is very attractive and was an easy setup, but it's lacking a lot of what the company was showing off for function. WiFi is not enabled. Screenshots non-existent, save states aren't a thing. Updates require you to remove an SD card, download manually then place back into the system. Images for games? No. Even the base settings seem lacking.
I'm a little shocked. I'm hoping they're working on ironing out these features, but shocked all the same.
Also, more so on me for my lack of checking, but supposedly my 4K HDR TV isn't the spec they're supporting... so... I get 1080p output from this unit. Not happy with that... but again, I wasn't checking.
Couple that with not being able to get the firmware update tool to do anything for the (optional) #8bitdo N64 controller and I'm left a little jaded. Sigh.
