@Miro_Collas one year ago I was talking to a journalist friend and mentioned that Israel should be sanctioned. His response? "No, it wouldn't be good for the balance in the region".
He was absolutely clueless about the ME history and conflicts, but he managed to parrot one of the MSM lines: "... But what about the balance in the region?"

@ridicol Incredible that someone in that profession should be so lacking in historical background knowledge.
Then again, these days, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Read any MSM outlet, and almost none of them give any background context, making it seem like vents happen out of the blue, for no reason.
