      @brad I imagine for the same reasons that every handgun on screen for about a 20 year span was a Desert Eagle: someone really liked the look and it spread like a props department virus.

        @valthonis That would actually make a lot of sense. The Buck 120 is an ICONIC fixed blade knife design. It's also shiny and people love that
