        @mattsheffield #AltText An amusing video, set to the tune “Staying alive” by The BeeGees, featuring a variety of spiders waving their legs and/or abdomens — presumably in displays to attract mates, or ward off predators, or something. Some (all?) of the many spiders appearing in the video are extremely colorful males of the genus Maratus, commonly called “peacock spiders” because the topsides of their abdomens are brightly colored and shaped a little like the fan of a peacock’s tail.
