For the past few hours I've been coming through stuff about Yahoo! and their "decline." Throughout my life all I ever heard from techy types was the financial harm they suffered under the Bush admin, and how they'd been willing to stand up for our privacy only to be slow-tortured through secret court proceedings. When I do internet searches for their company I keep reading about their failure to buyout Google and nothing about the 9/11 stuff. When I go looking for the court cases I feel like the internet wants to pretend they didn't exist at all. This is disappointing. Seems like we should preserve the reality of the history.
