@lzg I haven't watched a lot of television since the turn of the century, but this reminds me of exactly what I didn't like about "reality" TV.
A coworker said back then that I should go on "Survivor" because of my rock climbing / outdoor experience, and my response was that "survivor" wasn't about outdoor skills, it was about getting people in conflict with each other that would boost ratings.
