    Hello everyone! πŸ‘‹

    I’m excited to join this community and share a little corner of my world with you all. I’m passionate about baking (mostly bread), gardening (letting plants grow as they please), and exploring nature through hiking and photography.

    I’m not much of a writer, so I’ll mostly share photos of my adventures β€” the good, the messy, and the funny. πŸŒΏπŸžπŸ“Έ

    Thanks for stopping by and thanks to @brudibrau for hosting me ❀️
    I’m looking forward to new friendships along the way!

    @knead_i_say_more @brudibrau

    My next door neighbor thinks my grass is too long. I think it is doing an excellent job of harboring this years insects out of winter and into the spring

    We'd get along, I think.

    - also, you can't see the wind flow through cut grass.

      @Edelruth we have a pile of dead wood in our garden which is home to a cute little hedgehog - good for us and our garden but the neighbor hates it.

      I too think we'd get along.

        @knead_i_say_more This bread belongs in the dictionary next to the entry for "Perfection".

            @weezmgk actually, no it's made with fresh regular yeast, my sourdough is barely alive at the moment

              @knead_i_say_more gorgeous anyway. Sourdough starters are quite a commitment. Like having a needy puppy.

                @weezmgk it's more like a neglected house plant at this point, you might revive it if you start 'watering' it again or kill once and for all.

                  @knead_i_say_more starters tend to be resilient- you can treat them really badly, including dehydrating and restarting later. As long as mould & fungi haven't killed the starter culture, i bet you can rescue it. If you can be arsed to look after one again. Which I can not. I am unarsable.

                      @weezmgk I have revived it in the past but sometimes I just start a new one entirely or I just feed off of @brudibrau's leftover yeast from brewing.
