@stephanie @Martin I lived in Tokyo for 6 years. Most earthquakes sounded like a truck coming along the road.

I didn't feel it where I am, but my wife felt it and saw the coffee in her mug do a little wave...If it was a truck, it was a big one, since she's nowhere near the Ottawa seismic station. It also registered in Cantley and Glen Almond, so it wasn't shallow.
