@pymander You use many of the same Emacs tools I do, including mu4e which delighted me because everyone who uses Emacs for email seems to have turned to notmuch! xD It goes to show how powerful and versatile Emacs is without straying too far from default/widespread tools. Like you I find Org Mode and Org Agenda indispensable for todo management, and since I often have to break down a long task into smaller ones to be worked on every day until the deadline, it's been an absolute lifesaver to be able to produce clones of todo items in daily increments and then having them appear on the corresponding days in Org Agenda. I use dired (lightly customized for quality-of-life improvements like opening files in their associated apps on hitting Return, or opening a window to the left or right and switching its buffer in one key combo) to manage project files and folders.
