OpenSSL 4.0.0 just dropped β and it changes everything.Post-quantum cryptography (ML-KEM + ML-DSA) is now native. MD5, 3DES, RC4, and TLS 1.0/1.1 are finally gone. TLS 1.3 is the only default.
If you run a Linux server, this guide covers what changed, what to audit in your apps, and how to prepare for the post-quantum era.
