    I enjoy chess, but I'm not great at it. Occasionally I play chess puzzles from an open source game called TacticMaster (available from F-Droid).

    This one took me awhile (the video shows me rifling through it since I was repeating it). I'm playing white. At the 3 second mark I had a choice, and discovered that what looked like an unproductive & ridiculous sacrifice of my rook was in fact a set up for checkmate.

      @markgrieveson

      Nice work!
      I don't have a computer chess game, I think I'll go find one. You've inspired me

        @ChrisInToots

        If you have Android (or a variant like LineageOS), then you can install the F-Droid app and then install TacticMaster.

        F-Droid is like Google Play Store but for open source apps.
