    A guy called my dad and said he’d won a million dollars in a contest! All that was needed was to advance $1,000 to cover fees

    My dad told the guy he would happily split the winnings, $500K each, if the guy paid the fees for him

        @neilk I remember once getting into an argument with a guy calling about my Windows machine. I legitimately only had a Linux laptop. He called me a liar, and insisted I did, indeed have a Windows machine. I hung up on him.

                    @commonst @neilk because his victims are normaly unaware what kind of system/OS they have. "I have a computer, no I don'T have Windows." Rarely they get to someone who knows what's up and then it can get funny.
