An under-reported aspect of Mark Carney's speech yesterday: talk of doubling Canada's clean energy capacity.
If he follows through, this might be Carney's first step in the right direction on the climate crisis, and would be long overdue -- as long this isn't just more greenwashing baloney about "decarbonized oil" from the tarsands, of course.

@bougiewonderland Absolutely agree, 100%. He skipped past the item so quickly, and his record on this topic is so shady, that we can't take anything he says about it in his PR events at face value.
