What a time to be alive. A major publicly-traded company just sent me an email about a C-level role, and I'm pretty sure the text is 100% AI-generated from my LinkedIn profile.

Gets the message across that they care about security and you as a human being?

@lcamtuf it's ok, it's a closed loop: they'll automatically reject you when the AST can't parse your resume because it's not in markdown (despite only accepting PDFs).

@lcamtuf I'd set up a filter and ping them back. "Thank you for your message. Unfortunately it cannot be delivered. It has failed my AI filter. This is an automatic process and your email was disposed of. My server performs this task daily and purges the overwhelming onslaught of bad players as a means to thwart the problem.

If you are receiving this in error please find my contact details online and reach out to me to set up a person to person contact.

If you are, in fact, a bot, please log this as a message to properly fuck off.

              All my best... etc etc."

@lcamtuf Man - that mail, if written by a human, would be a huge signal that it's a good place to at least consider. But instead, it's like they signed up for a service that will text your significant other "I love you" once a day...
