@turkeyhouse @Daojoan I was going to say, probably more social media or at least the take over of the internal by money chasing capitalists.
Though it wasn't bad as such that people wanted to make money from the internet. Something about the whole Web 2.0 era just ruined what we had imo.

@Daojoan people just weren't made with the emotional bandwidth to handle having EVERY village idiot in the palm of their hand all day and every day. It's the social equivalent of trying to drink from a fire hose. It's too much.
