44 Commercial Vessels Redirected from Iranian Waters
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that as of this Thursday, 44 commercial vessels have been redirected away from Iranian waters. Some of these vessels have been ordered to return to their home port. This decision was made amid rising tensions in the region. The redirection affected ships that were transiting through waters under Iranian control. The operation is one of the largest movements of commercial shipping in the region in recent times. -
