    This Wikipedia page is the most ridiculous thing I've read in a while. The amount of hype and misinformation is ridiculous. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moltbook

    Meanwhile, these so-called "AI agents" have rendered security protocols and frameworks people have come up with over decades, moot, because people give permissions to LLMs to do anything and access anything (e.g. see this 404 media article: https://www.404media.co/exposed-moltbook-database-let-anyone-take-control-of-any-ai-agent-on-the-site/).

      @timnitGebru@dair-community.social I use AI for many things (with rigorous safeguards, and I don't blindly give information to or trust LLMs), but I've never heard of Moltbook. Is it one of those weird apps like Grok or something?
