Does anyone have a recommendation for a great “beefsteak” tomato variety? Let’s say I wanna grow one variety this year. I have some Purple Cherokee seeds, which really underperformed last year and I also have some Pineapple Tomato seeds which I did poorly for one reason or another.

    Any thoughts?

@SeasonsChange I've grown the brandywine from SeeSavers and love the flavor. It doesn't hold well on the counter for me, but if you use tomatoes quickly, I'd recommend.

@SeasonsChange Unfortunately it's not allowed to send you seeds (and too late for this year anyway).
          😞

@TheGreatLlama They are sooo tasty, but as you say I think my plant just struggled. Maybe I’ll try again

@SeasonsChange We have grown Kellogg’s Breakfast heirloom tomatoes the last few years and they’re great. Big, hearty, not too acidic, perfect for sandwiches. As long as you don’t mind the color orange instead of red, they’re perfect.

@SeasonsChange Any hybrid is going to out perform an heirloom from a disease and heat tolerance standpoint
