@skc you can make it work by setting the Globe key to open the native Emoji picker in System Settings, then in TinyStart reset the Emoji hotkey to the default (control + command + space), and now hopefully the Globe key should trigger TinyStart's emoji picker!

@nileane I’ll give it a shot but I might have that key combo as a global shortcut for another app I use for window management.

@nileane how does it compare to Quicksilver's noun-verb paradigm?

@nileane Already done 👍🏼 I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Apple refurbished store for a (practically) new Mac upgrade when funds allow.

@nileane no luck on my computer, no global shortcuts are conflicting. Globe key just opens Character Viewer.

I really wish I had the money to upgrade my M2 MacBook Air. it's becoming atrocious to deal with the 256GB of storage. macOS SLOWS to an absolute crawl when the disk gets close to full

@nileane It’s criminal that they sold it with 256Gb SSD combined with a low ram count which means that poor SSD is swapping all the time.

My M2 Air 24Gb 512SDD feels really fast still.

@torb yeah. to be precise mine is 16GB of RAM and 256GB, but it’s indeed brutal when it swaps

@nileane Bought it and became an immediate fan. Thanks! Got one request though: would it be possible to add custom shortcuts to open apps? Like mec to launch Microsoft Edge Canary or ss to open System Settings?
