sad thing is, I knew the M2 Air had devaluated on the second-hand market lately, but I didn't expect it to go for as low as €500 or sometimes even less 🥲

@nileane oh woof I hadn’t expected it to drop that quickly! Stupid non-upgradable storage 😔 Here’s to selling many more launchers!

@nileane also I’d love to map the Globe key for the emoji picker. Just the globe key. I can disable it from System Settings > Keyboard > “Press (globe) key to” but it’s not picked up when I try to record it.

@skc you can make it work by setting the Globe key to open the native Emoji picker in System Settings, then in TinyStart reset the Emoji hotkey to the default (control + command + space), and now hopefully the Globe key should trigger TinyStart's emoji picker!

@nileane I’ll give it a shot but I might have that key combo as a global shortcut for another app I use for window management.

@nileane Already done 👍🏼 I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Apple refurbished store for a (practically) new Mac upgrade when funds allow.

@nileane It’s criminal that they sold it with 256Gb SSD combined with a low ram count which means that poor SSD is swapping all the time.

My M2 Air 24Gb 512SDD feels really fast still.

@torb yeah. to be precise mine is 16GB of RAM and 256GB, but it’s indeed brutal when it swaps
