sad thing is, I knew the M2 Air had devaluated on the second-hand market lately, but I didn't expect it to go for as low as €500 or sometimes even less 🥲

@nileane and you know what I found was taking up TWO GIGABYTES??? COOKIES!!!! "Oh but they're tiny, it doesn't matter how many you have..." I was like some of these are 5 years old and 135 Mb, what is even going on here. 2Gig. Ridiculous.

@nileane also I’d love to map the Globe key for the emoji picker. Just the globe key. I can disable it from System Settings > Keyboard > “Press (globe) key to” but it’s not picked up when I try to record it.

@skc you can make it work by setting the Globe key to open the native Emoji picker in System Settings, then in TinyStart reset the Emoji hotkey to the default (control + command + space), and now hopefully the Globe key should trigger TinyStart's emoji picker!

@nileane Already done 👍🏼 I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Apple refurbished store for a (practically) new Mac upgrade when funds allow.

@nileane It’s criminal that they sold it with 256Gb SSD combined with a low ram count which means that poor SSD is swapping all the time.

My M2 Air 24Gb 512SDD feels really fast still.

@nileane Bought it and became an immediate fan. Thanks! Got one request though: would it be possible to add custom shortcuts to open apps? Like mec to launch Microsoft Edge Canary or ss to open System Settings?
