    Here's a photo showing some dimensions. Main body is 23mm. The thread 5 or 6mm.

    @Pepijn
    - too small for doorknobs
    - too small for cabinet feet
    - too big for electronic equipment feet.
    - scratched. Someone (you?) needed pliers (what's combinatietang in English) too get it out.

    Intended as hooks for hanging something with a cord on?

    Machining in the middle bit is a bit coarse. A machining exercise?

      @nblr @Pepijn Or pulleys in some sort of tensioning system I.e. to regulate the speed of a drill press or lathe? The cones certainly hint at a belt that needs to slip onto the cylindrical part.

            If they were 5/8" diameter, and the thread was 1/4", they could be used at a pinch to put a camera on a lighting stand, coathanger or not.

                      @mattdawhit Nope. While similar these are very much for a "less destructive" home setting. Not having the support to deal with heavy / crude weights etc.

                                    @Pepijn Assuming you're referring to the location of the toilet in the train, and knowing that anything removable from a traveller's toilet on a train will get snitched sooner or later, and assuming you do not intend to confess theft here, my guess is that they're from a personnel toilet on a German train. @RolfBly German train indeed. And not stolen (if I did I'd confess here, but I didn't and wonder if these are actually removable at all without first demolishing an entire panel).
