@elight somehow we, as a society, have decided that these chucklefucks should be in charge of the allocation of capital.
@danlyke It is awfully ironic that you should use this word. I found myself nearly perseverating on it yesterday. Somehow, for a few minutes, it became the most fascinating word in the English language.
I think Vonnegut would mark this one up as you and I are in the same karass. And then he'd call us idiots for buying into his bullshit.

@sophieschmieg That's why there's Quantum NVLink

@sophieschmieg @q Implementing a full quantum AI stack without a blockchain feels like a missed opportunity tbh
@slothrop @sophieschmieg @q You can tell it's good because it's already blockchAIn! It says so! Right there^^^!

Oh wait...

@elight I have been trying to find words that express my disdain for the level of "thinking" that's going into the embrace of AI.
I have been taken to task for suggesting that grown-ass adults stuck in Piaget's Animism stage might have developmental disabilities, but I don't know how else to view this level of delusion.

Hopefully GenAI replaces 59% of executives by 2030. It's maybe the one job the robots could do better.

@elight also, it's making me realize just how disconnected the ability to play the social game is from the ability to actually build shit.
And I'm stuck building shit. Or, more to the point, fixing shit that wasn't built well in the first place.

@DaveMWilburn @sophieschmieg here's a prototype, er I mean an ADVANCED VC-BACKED INITIATIVE

> But organizations must start preparing today. This means developing quantum skills and expertise, experimenting on real-world quantum hardware, and developing quantum-centric supercomputing infrastructure.Hmm, I wonder who would sell this quantum hardware right now and could have an incentive to make people think they're missing out.

@sophieschmieg One wonders whether 59% of executives estimating something about the quantum AI teaches us more about the likelihood of quantum AI or more about 59% of executives.
