@Tamami Looks nice there. Moo.
@sunumbral I love them

-
@donray Yeah, these animals are not known for friendliness.
Itβs probably best that they donβt come galloping up to greet you

Itβs a very dramatic photo with the horse and with the mountains in the background.

Went for a hike in Genoa, NV, with an artist friend of mine. Had a great time because: she and I have the same political/social views, and we are smart. Also we like each other's arts. We'd stop every 5 minutes or less to take photos. And we are always hungry. Perfection.
#MastoArt #Nevada #noAI #HumanMade #hike@Tamami that's a gorgeous spot! Nature like that is a healer.

@zkarj It really is! I needed it.
This area is owned and managed by a Nature Conservancy, so it's protected from a greed. Good organization to donate to! -
@sunumbral I love them

@Tamami @sunumbral Google photos says those are dogs, actually.

-
Cows wanted us to paint them. I just might.
#Nevada #hike #onthetrail@Tamami That would be an awesome painting. The reflection in the water is nice .

@ai6yr @Tamami @sunumbral Exactly. It just forgot an "i." (Though in the region where I took that photo, orphan/rejected calves are called "leppies," not "dogies.")

I see "one" dog - under the "D"...
So - not a full hallucination.

@msbellows @ai6yr @Tamami why leppies? Why dogies, come to think of it....

@Tamami here are some cows I painted ten years ago.

@Tamami thank you.

@msbellows @ai6yr @Tamami why leppies? Why dogies, come to think of it....
@sunumbral @ai6yr @Tamami Don't know about dogies. "Leppies" is from "lepers" β the cow sometimes rejects its calf (especially if it's the second of twins), and then that calf is shunned by all the cows (who reserve their milk for their own) unless the rancher uses a trick to get another cow who lost her calf to adopt it (like skinning the dead calf and draping the hide over the leppie so it smells right).
There, more than you ever wanted to know!
