That would be interesting to know. I like long time running systems becuase they have been tried, tested and fixed like the XMPP system going back to when it was Jabber

Slackware was 93 and Red Hat was 94.

@hamishtpb @Ciela Slackware was based on SLS so it can’t be first. looks like Slackware early summer 93, Debian late summer 93, Red Hat (not RHEL) 95. So I guess Debian is the oldest one with relevant market share
