@Nonilex overall it seems a lot like like USA is trying to open the strait by escorting ships even if they deny this. Seems doomed to fail because you just can't guarantee safety to all those ships with Iran having so much to hit them with... so the commercial vessels will probably not risk it now that they see Iran is attacking them again.
