Hello Everyone! I'm Sheryl Weikal, "The Leftist Lawyer." I'm a name-your-own-price law practice in Illinois, USA. Illinois has no right to counsel in eviction or foreclosure cases,
so I represent people facing homelessness who otherwise couldn't afford lawyers.Illinois is also one of 42 US states that charges for and means tests the public defender, so I take criminal cases for people who can't afford the public defender or don't qualify.

I also represent Pro-Palestine, anti-racism/BLM, and anti-ICE protesters pro bono.
I'm not a nonprofit and take no government funding, because the Legal Services Corporation, the government agency that funds legal aid nonprofits, prohibits its recipients from representing undocumented people and I won't turn anyone away because of their immigration status.
