    But the most recent figures, provided by the council, show the spending was just over £240,000 for the year to February and of that £210,000 was spent on children, a service all councils are obligated to provide.

      @Geri Probably much cheaper than eg NHS payments for medical errors due to misunderstanding. Leaving aside the human rights angle.
