@rbreich I mean, what's the point of war if you can't get a few inside trades in? Or some nice sinecure? Or maybe a few PAC donations later on as a thank you?
America's actual soldiers, the ones who enlist for dentistry or health care or an education, also get a nice little deal out of it too. It's the whole point of being a mercenary.
These wars are only a problem if you believe in social services.

@rbreich bright side, if Trump escalates, Iran will truly kill the viability of the gulf states. The people who ACTUALLY did 9/11 will finally have some financial pain and ideally a Gaddafi deal via lack of drinking water leading to violent revolt.
