@shom @kottke Everyone I see posting about this got over 40 or very close to it. Myself included. I’m dubious of the website’s claims. If anything, the issue seems to be less remembering colours and more that their picker is subpar and unintuitive (and I say this as someone who studied graphic design).

I got 39.6
All of my choices were lighter than the actual darker colour.
I am impressed with how the majority of people here got scores in the mid 40s!All of mine were slightly darker.

@kottke I got 30 out of 50. Part of the problem is (1) I don't think in terms of HSL, so adjusting to the controls was difficult, and (2) adjusting the controls didn't change the color of the image I thought I was trying to change to match the color I'd "memorized".

46.5, but i still havent figured out how to move the sliders to get the shade(s) of brown i want. 3 of my colors were browns, and i gave up on fixing each of them rather than actually thinking they were correct. -

@kottke 46.2/50. It’s apparently not bad, but I didn’t feel I performed so well when I saw the comparison between the two colours.

@kottke the act of seeking the color via hue saturation and amount of tint sort of knocks what you thought you saw out of the picture.

@kottke Interesting. My particular version of color blindness didn't affect me as much as I expected. I tend to perceive colors on this device as lighter (more white) than they are, though.
