Took a detour on the way home from USAClimbing Regionals in Bend. I've spent years getting to know Smith Rock through climbing footage and magazine spreads. Standing in the canyon in person was something else. The cliffs are bigger than I'd imagined, and on a still afternoon, the Crooked River turns the whole thing upside down. Sorry for the lack of posts recently, it's been a whirlwind of a week!
