Well, now I know how an airbag deployment goes. Fuck. (Everyone's okay.)
How shocked was I at experiencing a car crash that I forgot to take in how hot the officer was? Or not. Either way, I'm losing it.

You said you're alright, and that may be true for your physical state*, but please give yourself the time and space to recover mentally and emotionally. A crash where an airbag deploys is traumatic, even if there were no apparent injuries. π«*keep assessing yourself throughout the next few days/weeks, these sorts of things can pop up after your stress response recedes. Speaking from experience from both being in car crashes and bike crashes with cars.

@James Thank you. Now that the adrenaline has worn off, I definitely feel the effect in my back & neck. Goddamnit, car culture sucks. I need to get back on the bike.

Oh, I forgot to mention, it was mom's car. She's of the age that "it is what it is" so she won't be punitive about the replacement. I will do whatever I can to make it right for her, obviously, because my mom is awesome, but what a mess.
