Blargh. Glad everyone's okay.Without re-traumatizing yourself, what was it like? For those of us who hope never to have to experience it first-hand.
@Wolf It all happened so fast. The airbag deployment seemed unnecessary at the moment, but looking at the totaled car, I get it. The things that hit me (aside from the airbag) was the sulfur smell, and the texture of the bag. It's a more course fabric than I imagined.

You said you're alright, and that may be true for your physical state*, but please give yourself the time and space to recover mentally and emotionally. A crash where an airbag deploys is traumatic, even if there were no apparent injuries. 🫂*keep assessing yourself throughout the next few days/weeks, these sorts of things can pop up after your stress response recedes. Speaking from experience from both being in car crashes and bike crashes with cars.

@James Thank you. Now that the adrenaline has worn off, I definitely feel the effect in my back & neck. Goddamnit, car culture sucks. I need to get back on the bike.
