On the other topic… @firesphere wrote a post with a poem that brought me to tears, to deal with it. The thread also contains hope; @rl_dane shares that and the regret of not getting another cat earlier (not to replace, never that, but to not be alone any more and without the guidance of Bastet’s messengers) and is worth reading, too.

Yes, I will hold mine and cherish them ️
They are innocent and dependant, and all they want is to love and be loved.
I have been so sad because one is now so frail, but his eyes still look so kindly at me, even after cleaning his ear, clipping his nails, and combing his fur which he finds more difficult to manage nowadays. I will so miss his face and the sweet way he looks at me.
