I finally managed to open my Steelseries Arctis Pro headset (fuck you, product manager who signed off to use the softest security torx screws known to man. Luckily a drill will solve that problem permanently...)
Headset wouldn't turn on anymore.
Because a hair thin wire broke and the power button press didn't pass through to the main PCB anymore.Annoyingly, BT still doesn't work, because a tiny capacitor broke off at some point and took its pad with it. Sigh

@darkrat I recognized the pcb because I just took one of these apart last week for a transplant project. Feeling lucky cause my terminals were not covered with mastic like those. Did the cap eject from our reality or are you going to attempt some micro soldering?

@boyago I *was* trying to microsolder it.
but then it disappeared into a paralell dimension while I had it in my tweezers
Probably going to try to just patch the missing trace and see if it works without the cap. I *think* it's just a smoothing cap for a power-on transistor
Otherwise it's off to "let's randomly guess the cap specs and hope"
