One more dish towel is embroidered for a Mastodon friend.
Six to go.
I need to spend some time encouraging voters in Michigan by addressing personalized post cards to them. I will trade off between towels and cards in my spare time.
Two projects to work on while it is raining for the next few days.
I've gotten so much enjoyment stitching these towels and knowing that people are happy to receive them.

I just want to let you know your Golden Gate towel is about to get a good workout. We have 14 days of rain and drizzle ahead of us. The towel travels with me, in the camera bag, and I use it to keep the camera dry.

I have mailed out seventeen towels so far but that one is my favorite. Quirky and one of a kind.
Happy to hear it is serving a practical purpose.
We are expecting heavy rain but what worries me is the wind up here on the hill. I struggle with the generator if the power goes out. Someday soon I need to upgrade to a system that is more modern than a gas powered unit. Maybe before next winter.
I hope all is well and you stay dry. -

*nods*I like to think that your backup to the power generator is your family. As long as you can reach them by cellphone or car, they are your safety net.

They set me up the last time an earthquake took the power out. As long as it doesn't flood at the bottom of the hill they can get here. -
