@EdwinG Party Pooper ! Was so looking forward to using Starfleet transporters to get to the pool. Looks like I will continue to have to use my bicycle in middle of winter.

With transporters, no more need for cars, snow clearing and road infrastructure. Think of the cost savings. So, you need a few nuclear power plants to power each transporter site, a small cost to pay
