I avoid X-twitter. Someone sent me the text of a post there, and it is hysterical (and sadly, has an element of truth). I can't find it posted elsewhere, so I guess I need to share the link here:

@canacar @spaf Yep. XCancel links work with strict tracking protection enabled. Twitter deliberately breaks itself with the same. If you always replace the x in the domain with xcancel in Twitter links, that fixes the Twitter self-breakage problem.
