After years of hauling around #Apple Newtons & Palm PDAs this felt less like a phone & more like someone had slipped a tiny computer into my pocket.
Back then, phones still had personality. They were weird, bold, ambitious. Today, most of them look like slightly different versions of the same black rectangle.

@pallenberg I owned a Nokia communicator once, but my last #Nokia smartphone was the E 61i. This was a very solid device. For a very short period of time I owned a N 95 with a five megapixel camera. I never used it that much. Then I switched to the iPhone 3Gs. Good old days.

@pallenberg In "La Casa de papel" they collect everyone's cellphone and put them on a wall in a room.
This scene made me quite sad recently, because we lost so much variety in design since then.
Unfair to single out Apple, but the iPhone brought us uniformity. -

@pallenberg wollte ich immer haben, konnte ich mir nie leisten. Obwohl man ja mittlerweile auch schnell nen Tausender los ist bei den heutigen Geräten.
