    So I ask again. Billionaires: Would you rather be taxed or eaten?

        Hope you're right. I'm looking into pirate radio broadcasting and neighborhood /community) aerial drone surveillance.

          @DemocracyMattersALot for historical context, there was literally almost no food at the time after a volcanic eruption had caused harvests to fail and people were starving in the streets of paris. What we’re experiencing now is just plain evil

            @Kierkegaanks @DemocracyMattersALot

            on the plus side mount tambora's eruption meant lord byron and his guests including mary shelley in switzerland were cooped up inside because the summer was so cold and rainy. so they had a ghost story writing contest and mary shelley came up with frankenstein

            plus the above image meant "a tale of two cities" "les miserables" etc

            so all the suffering is good for the arts

                french revolution -> napoleon -> much drama in europe -> some random french dude becoming king of sweden who didn't even speak swedish, not by conquest, but by swedes going "he seems like a nice fellow"

                    history is weird

                    it's comforting because it means we can get weird with the shit we're dealing with

                    weird can work
