Everything had been grey for so long. Finally spring remembered and dressed in blue and light. The sun was warm and occasioned with birdsongs. I had promised myself a break and a nice long walk. I was thinking about the walking around the lake. I hadn’t been back to walk around the lake since Woofer’s passing.  We had walked there together just one week before he went. Thank you so much. I'm sorry to hear about your loss too. I hope you had many long years together. Mine went in 2024. I think we will never stop missing them but it's a kind of blessing once time softens

@Petrichor I still feel guilty when I stay out late or go away for a couple of days because the freedom reminds me of the ties.

@etp the same. I'll find out I do something and then think about Woofer and forget. Like drop something in the kitchen and immediately I'll think better get that fast before he does but... Oh.
