Seems like Discord will be the first “social network” to require age verification for accounts.

The problem is not the fact itself by how this is implemented and the way they check and store this. Considering there’s no generic, anonymous and global way to verify age.

Discord will require a face scan or ID for full access next month

Starting in March, all Discord users will have a “teen” experience by default unless they complete age verification using a video selfie or ID.
