Something I've been doing for a quick fun; one-inch square design scrap booking.

@nabeards Oh that's really cool! I spot several Japanese designs, and the Kinkaku-Ji (I think) is super intricate.
@Tamami good eyes! The Kinkaku-Ji is part of a larger piece with ten temples and shrines across Kyoto. We have it in our tokonomo

@Tamami For some packaging I wouldn't be able to keep only a square ! But I've been thinking of doing something like this. Maybe I can cheat and keep a bigger piece sometimes. But the square grid is so appealing visually.... maybe I can do both x)

@PeryleneBleu Oh I know what you mean! Some packaging is a work of art. You could try punching out a series of squares from one packaging and rearrange them on paper... I think that would be interesting too.

@Tamami Are these mini pictures you've collected or mini pieces you've created yourself? Just curious. It's very cool looking.

@Tamami oh that’s such good idea! I wish I still had the last gift wrap I received

@pussreboots Collected, from various scraps. There's a description on the previous toot (threaded to this one). It's a lot of fun.
